Want to speed-up WordPress?
You like this story?
What most of us usually do is install wordpress and keep adding plugins and posts, and at last when we go to the site it takes years to load the web site! Well, in a situation like this we face a ig problem, we can’t disable the plugins because they are that much important…then how to speed up the site without disabling the plugins?
Well, there are many ways that you can speed up your WordPress site, and we are going to teach 3 of them.
1) You can compress your HTML,scripts and CSS.
To do this you can use Autoptimize which does the all 3 compressions (HTML,CSS,Script). This plugin is very simple you just have to install it and then go to its settings (Settings > Autoptimize), enable the 3 compressions and save, the plugin will take care of the rest.
2)Optimize your Databases
For this you can use WP-DBManager. This plugin not only optimizes your databases it also can repair, delete, backup, restore,drop/empty tables, run selected queries, and you can schedule automatic optimizations and backups!
3) Cache
WP Super Cache can be used to add caching function to your web site. WP Super Cache will create static HTML files from your site (Which are more lighter than normal WordPress PHP scripts) and give to the visitors who :-
- Are not logged in.
- have not left a comment on your blog.
- have not viewed a password protected post.
There are many other plugins that performs the same task but these are the best that i could think of… and these have helped me a lot, so think they will help you too, happy blogging!!!
