Clam AVNow, many, well recognized anti virus companies had started to build anti virus systems for Linux. They might be well experienced on Windows systems, but they are still infants for Linux! But, there are some anti virus systems which were written specially for Linux. They have ruled the Linux market for many years!

Clam Anti Virus, is one of the most famous and one of the most successful anti virus system for Linux. We have already written about Avast and Bitdefender anti virus systems. We know that, when it comes to Windows, Bitdefender and Avast are big giants! But they still have more to explore in Linux. So, Clam AV can do better then them on Linux. Actually, Clam AV have ditected more malware in my Linux system than other anti viruses.

Originally Clam AV comes as a command line scanner. But thanks to ClamTk, now we have a graphical interface for ClamAV!
