So, Didn’t you thought of making your own great theme? If you haven’t, think about it now, because today we are going to learn how to make your own customized Windows 7 theme!

Now we will be customizing the Wallpaper, Windows Color Scheme, Sounds and the Screen-saver to make our theme :

  • To start the work, right click on your desktop and select “Personalize”
  • Select “Desktop Background”

  • After that, select the wallpapers you want to be included in your theme. And also adjust the other settings : “Picture Position”, “Change Picture Every” (The time frame to change the wallpapers), “Shuffle”. After your done click on “Save Changes”

  • Next select “Windows Color”

  • Now change the settings as follows :

1) Color : The color you want

2) Enable Transparency : (If you want to make the window boarders and the task bar transparent or not)

3) Color intensity : Simply, the amount of transparency.

4) Show color mixer : Use this to create your own color, if you can’t find it within the given colors.

  • After your done select “Save Changes”

  • Now select “Sounds”

  • Select a good “Sound scheme” and click “Apply”

  • Next select “Screen Saver”, select the screen saver you want and click on “Apply”

  • Now your finished customizing your theme. Now we have to save it so you can share it!
  • Scroll to the top of your theme list and you’ll see your customized theme. Select it and click on “Save theme”. After that, give your new theme a name and click on “Save”

  • Finally you have to save it for sharing. To do that right click on your theme and select “Save theme for sharing”. Next select where you want to save your theme and click on “Save”
