Have a file that you don’t know how to open?

UnknownDid you get a file from someone and you don’t have a program that can open it? Here’s a website that you can use to find what programs can open the file – openwith.org.

What is great about the program is that it will give you free programs that you can use to open files.

When you go to the website, put in the file extension in the search text box (i.e. the letters after the last period), for example, for the file tutorial.docx, enter .docx (without the period).

A list of viewers will be shown, click on one of the links and you will be taken to a page that will have a little more information and a download link.

    Cool. When I download something from Torrents, I find lot of mysterious files that I couldn’t open. I guess this website would help me. Thanks for the share.

    Good website, sadly doesn’t tell how to open an PM5 file extension :| Even google fails to provide free viewer or reader to open .pm5 :/

    Good thing, it did show up .OGG extension info :)
