My Choice :
Actually, all the messengers mentioned above are perfect. But still, we need only one right?
First of all, Windows Live Messenger : This sure is a great messenger with lots of cool features. Earlier this was my only hope! Mostly I liked its cool interface. But, the problem is, it only uses windows live protocol! I usually use google and live both. So live messenger went out of my list.
Next, Trillian : At the first time I used this, it seems to be pretty nice. With a cool interface and effects. And it also supports multiple protocols! But the thing is, its a bit too much for me. Thought that I wanted a more light messenger.
Digsby : This is also a really cool messenger. The main thing that I liked in Digsby is that the ability to store our details online, so that we need to use only one user-name and password to connect to all of them. But it had some issues in my system. So, its off my list as well.
Nimbuzz : A great messenger that I used recently. Like Digsby, it will allow us to store our data online. The most important thing is that this messenger is also available for your mobile phone. So, now I’m using it on both my mobile and my windows system. (Actually, I’m not using my windows system that much)
Pidgin : This little messenger have most of the things that I need. Support for multiple protocols, Availability for Linux and also the ability to add more functionality through external plugins! So, finally, I settled with Pidgin!
Now, What is your choice? What did you choose out of this list? Or, do you know about a more better messenger? If so, please feel free to share them with us!…. Happy Chatting!

Hi Pubudu,
I never realized that there’re so many messengers exist on the internet haha.
Well my favorite, and the most basic ones are mainly Skype, Google Talk, Yahoo Messenger and Windows Live Messenger.
I’ve heard good things about Palringo which also allows to connect to GTalk, YIM and MSN with its own client. I’ve never used it though.
