Info-Graphic : What is The State of the Internet?

How often does people use the Internet? What percentages of women and men use the Internet? What is the average age group that uses the Internet? How many people access the Internet from a Desktop Computer? What is the average age group of bloggers? What is the average Internet speed? Don’t you want to know the answer for these questions?
Today I found a cool info-graphic created by the Focus.com which describes the current state of the Internet. It have clearly given the answers to some of the questions which might rise, about the status of the Internet. I have already stated some of those questions in the beginning of this post.
According to this graphic :
- 74% of men and 74% of women use the Internet
- The age group 18-29 have the highest percentage of Internet users. 93% of people in this age group use the Internet
- The income level that have the most broadband access is $75k+
- If we talk about the education level, 94% of the students who receive college or even higher education use the Internet
- 38% of people use the Internet several times a day and 4% use it less often than few weeks. Which was about 27% and 7% in the year 2005
- 58% of the Internet users use desktop computers
- The age group which have the highest percentage of bloggers is 35-44 which is about 28%. People within the age group of 18-24 have the least number of bloggers which is about 7%
- 75% of the bloggers describe their style as “Sincere”
- Norway is the country which have the highest number of Internet penetrations and Sweden is the second
- US have an average broadband speed of 4.8 mbps while Japan have an average of 61 mbps.
- The average mobile Internet speed of US is between 694 – 756 Kbps
