Just now I saw a very big heading on Gizmodo.com about a brand new social network that’s about to hit the net! According to them, the Google Emperor is secretly working on a project to make a new social network like Facebook called “Google Me”.  Most of the people call it the Facebook Killer… What will you call it? Another colony of the Google’s ever expanding Empire?

I think most of you can remember that recently Google released “Google Buzz” to challenge Twitter. Now we can’t call Google as a search giant as we used to say.. now we have to call Google the great Emperor, because now their trying to get their hands on almost everything we have on the tech world! First the search engine, next e-mail, web browsing, operating systems and many more! Now, we just got an un-official news saying that Google is about to release another major product called Google Me which is said to be a social network like Facebook!

Above is the tweet which was posted by the Digg Founder Kevin Rose which started this rumor. According to that tweet, Google is about to launch a new competitor for Facebook (only if it was able to compete with Facebook) called “Google Me”.

Actually, this can be true because these days Google is trying their best to expand their Empire around the world. They’ll do anything at this point to be the king in another field that they haven’t touched.

But.. who knows.. as the net is a very dangerous place.. some one might have hacked Kevin’s twitter account and trying to fool us! Or Kevin might be trying to have some laughs! Who knows… What I think is that we can’t tell anything about this new project until it was announced officially by Google!
