Kaspersky 2011 Hits the Web!

Kaspersky, one of the best  virus killers on the planet have finally released the next major version of their product line. Yesterday they have released Kaspersky 2011 which is said to be using more new innovative technologies to protect your system at all costs. The new features like the System Watcher and Safe Run said to add more power to this latest release.

As I said earlier, Kaspersky have ruled the anti-virus world for a long time, and still they are growing fast. These days we heard a lot of new versions from this anti-virus world, and to tell you the truth, this is the version release that I wanted the most. Recently, we saw that the Russian based company have started work on this latest release, and told you to get ready! ( Say Hi to Kaspersky 2011 Beta) Well, now its here, and lets see what it got!

According to their press release, it seems to be that the new version have more new technologies to protect you. But the first thing that caught our attention was the new sleek interface.

The new interface doesn’t have much of a glassy look as the previous versions. It seems to be nice and clean and when you look closer, you’ll see that it sure is simple. Most of the advanced technical stuff are hidden from the interface, making it more simpler. Even the settings window have been grouped well for better understanding.

That’s the interface.. When you look at the features, there were two main new features, namely, Safe Run and System Watcher. A new feature called the System Watcher is said to be protecting your system by monitoring everything you does. But one thing that I doesn’t understand is.. Whats the difference between the normal “Real Time Protection” and the new “System Watcher” ? Do you know more about this?

The new Safe Search is said to be adding more protection to your browser. If you use the Safe Search, it will be working hard to make sure that you won’t navigate into any malware! I think this is just like the Zone Alarm Force Field. But of course, its much more smoother than that..
