There are numerous apps for students out there, but some quite honestly suck. So I have narrowed down a few apps on almost every popular platform from the Web to the BlackBerry, that should be must-haves in your student life.

Mozilla Thunder Bird and MS Outlook Express are one of the biggest e-mail clients that we have today. Among those two, most of us prefer to use Thunder Bird because its more reliable, more secure and most importantly.. its completely free! But, we also had another very powerful mail client which had a lot of cool features which is also built on Mozilla technologies. But unfortunately.. it was not free. That’s the past… recently, they have introduced a free version of their popular mail client called Postbox Express!
